PGCVFRA 98th Annual Convention
The LVFD is extremely proud to host this year’s Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association’s (PGCVFRA) 98th annual convention in September. Together with the ladies auxiliary’s 90th convention (LAPGCVFRA), volunteer firefighters and EMT’s gather every year to conduct business and hold elections for new officers of each organization. These new officers form the key leadership team that works to ensure volunteer firefighters/EMT’s are recognized for their invaluable contributions as an integral part of the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department. This Department is one of the largest combination career/volunteer systems in the Country.
As with most events this year, COVID-19 restrictions have impacted this years convention. Much of the convention will be virtual but the business and elections will happen setting the stage for next year’s Association to tackle working for the volunteers across the County. See below for more info:
