It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Life Member Laudis Turney, Sr. He was the oldest living member of Laurel VFD, serving 75 years with our station and was a Navy veteran who served in World War II. We were fortunate to have celebrated his 100th birthday at the American Legion Post 60 in August of this year.
Please keep his family and our members in your prayers during this difficult time. As soon as we have information on Laudis’ service arrangements, we will be sure to share.
