LVFD Says Goodbye to a Legend
It is with deep regret that we let you know we lost a great one today. Chief Chaplain Emeritus Warren H. Litchfield answered his last alarm earlier this afternoon with his son David at his side.
Hulbert, as most knew him around the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department, was a great man, father, husband, and chaplain for all of us at the station, as well as across Prince George’s County. We will miss him beyond words and we ask that you please keep David and Hulbert’s extended family in your thoughts and prayers as they work through the hard times ahead.
Arrangements are being worked on and as soon as we have the details, an announcement will be made about the service at the firehouse. Thank you, Chaplain, for your dedicated service and may you Rest in Peace.
