Laurel Volunteer Fire Department’s Open House Set for October 16th
Looking for some family fun this weekend? It’s #NationalFirePreventionMonth and we have some planned for you this Sunday!
Chief Jim Codespote, President Vic Whipple, the Community Preparedness Committee and the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department membership would like to invite YOU to their Annual Fire Prevention Week Open House on Sunday, October 16, 2022, from Noon – 3:00pm, at Company 10, 7411 Cherry Lane.
This year’s Open House will have an emphasis on “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape.”
The event is free and open to the public. We welcome residents of Laurel and surrounding communities to attend and bring their families and friends.
The Open House will be a fun learning experience for kids, and if you have interest in finding out more about volunteering, come down and speak with our Firefighters and EMTs!
There will also be safety demonstrations, kid’s activities, and you can view our apparatus, equipment and more!
Parking is free in the station’s parking lot. For more information, please visit our website at https://laurelvfd.org.
