E103 gets a new home!

The LVFD recently became aware that Hawkins County Tennessee volunteer fire companies were in dire need used fire apparatus to update the fleet. The volunteer fire companies in the area were using 1980-era fire engines for suppression operations. We contacted the Hawkins County Volunteer Fire Association to discuss donating our 1999 ALF pumper to help fellow volunteers in Tennessee. A workhorse for many years in Laurel, E103’s new home is with The Lakeview VFD in Hawkins County TN.

We made a similar donation of our old A108 to Splendora Texas after they were devastated by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. All our best to the Lakeview VFD volunteers and we expect E103 will serve you well!

Lakeview Assistant Chief Andrew Bean briefs Hawkins County Commissioner Keith Gibson on the communications system at the pump panel.
Hawkins County VFA Secretary-Treasurer Chief Don Hiett presents keys and title to Lakeview VFD Fire Chief Curtis Bean. Left to right Lakeview VFD members Justin Nance, Paul Frutiger, Assistant Chief Andrew Bean, Chief Curtis Bean, Chief Don Hiett and County Commissioner Keith Gibson.
