It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the members of the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department say good bye to Life Member Robert “Pop” Grant. Pop passed yesterday, March 27th.
He joined LVFD on April 4, 1983, after 10 years at Hillandale Volunteer Fire Department. In his nearly 42-year tenure with LVFD, he served as President, Vice President and Trustee, as well serving on the Board of Directors of Pgcvfra – Prince George’s County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association.
A fixture at the station, he always had a smile, laugh and bit of advice to impart and his presence will be missed. Thank you for your years of service to the Laurel Community, Pop. May you Rest In Peace…

Arrangements:
There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Company 10, 7411 Cherry Lane, from 1:00 – 4:00pm, with a Repast immediately following the service.
