We mourn the loss of Robert “Bob” Coulson Sr., a true hero and longtime life member of the Laurel Volunteer Fire Department. Bob dedicated over 60 years of his life to serving his community, and his contributions, both in the field and as an instructor, will never be forgotten. His unwavering commitment to public safety, his mentorship of new recruits, and his kindness to those around him have left an indelible mark on us all.

Bob’s legacy of service continues to inspire everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who were touched by his selflessness. The Laurel community has lost a pillar, and we will forever honor his memory.
