As we head into the Memorial Day weekend, plan on joining the members of the LaurelVFD, Laurel Volunteer Rescue Squad Company 49, American Legion Laurel Post 60, and Laurel Police Department for our 52nd Annual Joint Memorial Day Service on May 25th at Ivy Hill Cemetery, located at 1201 Sandy Spring Road!Event Details:
* Wreath Laying: The morning will kick off at 10:45am with the Memorial Wreath Laying Walk to each of the memorials.
* Service: The service will commence around 11:00am, weather permitting.
Come together with us as we honor and remember those who have served our community, as well as our local veterans. Let’s pay tribute to their sacrifices and the dedication they showed in keeping us safe during their service to our community and Nation!
Weather is looking good right now, with cool temps and sunshine. IF that changes, the service will move indoors to the Laurel Municipal Center, 8103 Sandy Spring Road, at 11am. Follow us for weather updates at our Facebook page, @laurelvfd, as they become available.
