Truck and Chiefs Run Townhouse Fire

Just before 8am on Tuesday, November 4th, units from Laurel and the surrounding area were alerted to the 14900-blk of Belle Ami Drive for a report of smoke in the basement of the townhouse. Truck 10 arrived on the alpha side of a two-story middle of the group townhouse and reported smoke showing from side alpha. The crew split, with the technician throwing ground ladders and the aerial while the remainder of the crew made entry. Once inside, crews determined they had a room off in the basement and made a push down the interior steps. Truck 10 performed primary searches and opened up in the basement while the engine company knocked the fire. Crews were on scene for a little over an hour and a half.
