April 7th 2014 - LVFD Members Recognized For Outstanding Service

During the company meeting, Rosa Maher was recognized for her hard work and dedication during two separate snow storms this past winter.  She ensured members of the LVFD, the City of Laurel Public Works and the city Police Department were fed.  She prepared meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) at the station for the crews working during the storms.  Rosa is a member of the fire department as well as the Laurel Auxiliary. 

Also recognized during the meeting were Sidney Grant (daughter of Deputy Chief Grant), Casey Kora (daughter of Lt. Kora), and Ainsley Robinson (daughter of FF David Robison and board member Dove Robison) for their assistance with special events such as fire prevention, LVFD Open House, and the City of Laurel’s Open House.   Also in the photos are (L-R) Chief DJ Hull, Sr. Vice President Mike “Grape” Sellner and President Vic Whipple.
